Last week marked our third appearance at the IoT Tech Expo, part of TechEx Global, hosted at London Olympia. It was a packed two-day event featuring over 200 speakers, 150 exhibitors, and around 800 attendees.
As you’d expect, AI dominated a lot of the conversation. But what was interesting is just how much further things have evolved in as little as 12 months since the last TechEx Global. Generative AI is almost a distant memory from where it stood at the start of 2025; with more and more value being discovered, taking it to the next level with Agentic AI and, of course, Physical AI.
Physical AI, in particular, seems to be really gripping the IoT world right now, and our clients at Green Custard are no exception. The idea of AI embedded into the real world, powering robots, vehicles, equipment, and machines that can sense, decide, and act autonomously in their physical environment. It’s the bridge between software intelligence and real-world hardware, enabling systems to behave in ways that are increasingly adaptive, responsive, and autonomous.
One of the great things about TechEx, though, is the people. Be they speakers, attendees, or fellow exhibitors.
It was genuinely brilliant engaging with so many people across different industries and roles, from CTOs to interns, hearing about projects already in full swing, as well as those that are still just an outline on a whiteboard.

One of the best conversations of the whole two days for me was with a startup founder who was simply looking for some guidance and direction on where to head next. When he told me it was the most valuable conversation he’d had at the event, I walked away with a proper warm feeling, exactly the kind of moment that reminds you why these events are worth it.
Whilst it would be unfair for me to discuss any particular project here without the individual's permission, it was an explosive array of projects, products, and services that were explored. From in-home health care to fleets of vehicles to factory optimisation through AI, and the use of camera vision for early prevention of ….

It’d be fair to say it was long two days; days filled with conversations with people driven by passion, heart, curiosity, and perseverance. More than anything else, that’s what makes this such an incredible space to work in.
Now, whilst I can’t share information on the projects I discussed with attendees at the show, I can share these brilliant projects that we have been working on: https://www.green-custard.com/customers/
Looking forward to seeing you all at one of our next events.
