Earlier this month, James, Jonathan, Zoltan, and Charlie made their way to the capital for the AWS Summit London 2019.
The conference brought together 12,000+ attendees and 40+ speakers from the cloud computing community for a day of connecting, collaborating, and learning about AWS.
The jam-packed event hosted over 60 sessions which were delivered by subject matter experts from AWS, Partners, and expert customers who shared their real-world experiences and lessons learned. There was the opportunity to attend starter sessions or dive deep into core topics including:
- Migration
- App Modernization
- AI / ML
- Data & Analytics
- FSI Security & Compliance
- Startups
- DevOps
Here's what the team had to say about the day:
"We're very aware that Industrial IoT is picking up pace, but it was fascinating to witness the number and variety of applications being developed. The ever increasing size and scale of the AWS ecosystem is always impressive, something made much more apparent when seen first hand. The Vegas Summit will be phenomenal!" - James Green
"The conference gave us the opportunity to pitch an idea and win $1000 AWS credits to help us implement it. It was also a great opportunity for learning - from hearing about AWS Lambda layers, through to the journey The Guardian took to migrate from MongoDB to AWS RDS, PostgreSQL with an amazingly simple trick." - Zoltan Molnar
